Tree of Life

This tree of light

With leaves so bright.

Leans over me

With endless height.

I grab my rope

Begin to climb

Until I reach

The branch in mind.

I sway my legs

And close my eyes.

I say my thanks

And then goodbyes.

This tree I’ve chose.

It weeps inside,

As this tree of life

Sees me take mine.

To the Russell family, I am so sorry for your loss. My daughter Britt was in Brandon’s class in high school. I do remember Brandon as a young man with a wonderful smile and a kind heart.
