Haley Elizabeth Hackett

Haley Elizabeth Hackett, 21 years of age, tragically died Tuesday, July 24, 2018, at St. Lukes Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, after sustaining serious injuries from being hit by a car crossing the street five days earlier.

Born on September 10, 1996, she is survived by her loving family: her parents, Karen and Stuart Hackett, her two siblings, Jon and Katelyn Hackett, her grandmother, Pat Healey, and a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Haley was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California, graduated from Santa Rosa High School, and was currently attending Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, Missouri to pursue her passion and gifts for the arts.

We have lost a bright shining light, a soul who was just learning to fly and be independent – so much love, potential, and promise. Haley’s love of life and people will continue to bless us through her art, the gift of life she will pass on to others, and all our wonderfully humorous memories we shared with her. May God Bless our angel forever now and until we meet again.
