James P. Beidelschies


James P. Beidelschies, 71, of Olathe, KS, passed away on August 27th, 2019.

Jim was born Kenton, OH to Russel David and MaryLou Beidelschies on May 12, 1948. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army. He was an entrepreneur and a farmer. His work ethic was unparalleled. He owned several businesses most recently Enviro Solutions and MoKan Cattle of Cleveland, MO. He enjoyed spending his time on his farm with his cattle. He won several cutting horse awards riding his horse Cindy. Jim was an amazing Papa to his grandchildren, he supported them and lead the way. They made his face light up. 

Jim is preceded in death by his parents.    

Jim is survived by his companion of many years Lynn Sprowl of the home. His children Bridget Bechtel and Keith Ramsey of Ridgeway, OH, Russell and Marissa Beidelschies of Louisburg, KS. His brothers, Karl and Donna Beidelschies and Frank and Connie Beidelschies. His grandchildren Shelby DeLong of Ridgeway, OH and Hailey Rodriguez of McAllen, TX; JC and Nick Beidelschies of Louisburg, KS and his great-grandson Jamison DeLong of Ridgeway, OH.


A celebration will be at 6pm Wednesday September 4th at Miss B’s Diner in Louisburg Kansas. To include his favorite pies and coffee.

    Jim was a hard worker and gentleman. He was a good friend to me for several years. Jim helped me manage the pasture on my place by mowing and baling or placing cattle for grazing. I will always be grateful for Jim’s help and friendship.
    Jim, you will be missed by many and remembered by all, Rest In Pease my friend.
