Jimmy D. Reynolds, age 68, of Bonner Springs, KS, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020. He was born in Lamar, MO, in October of 1951. He spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest, Kansas, and Missouri. He was a Vietnam veteran, who served in the Army from 1971-1973. His lifelong dream was to live out on the water in a boat. He also had a great love for all things having to do with bald eagles.
Jimmy battled many health conditions but is now finally free of all his pain. He is survived by his longtime companion and best friend, Patricia Reynolds, of Kansas City, KS; son, Matthew Reynolds, of Kansas City, KS; daughter, Sarah Grimes and her husband, Landon Grimes, and their son, Briggs, of Frankston, TX; son, Brian Reynolds, and his wife, Cori Reynolds, and sons, Brandon, Zachary and his wife, Lacey, Nolan, and Elliot, of Brainerd, Minnesota; brother, Larry Reynolds, and his wife, Kathy Reynolds, of Shelton, WA; brother, Shane McClurg, and his wife, Mona McClurg, of Surprise, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda McClurg; his father, Jacob Reynolds; his step-father, Mike McClurg; and brother, Jay Reynolds.
Cremation services will be held at a later date.
