Kevin and I sang in the choir together in high school and ran with the same pack. I hadn’t been in touch with him for years, but I can’t believe he’s gone. What a huge, dynamic personality, what talent, what pure joy he possessed. My deepest condolences to all those who knew and loved him.

To Jim M – Thank you for the lovely tribute you posted. Even at such a young age, that voice of his was amazing, and I had no recollection of that heart-wrenching song from “Coming of Age” but it was a perfect memorial to Kevin. <3

The world has lost a brilliant mind, a kind heart, and a unique spirit. None of us who knew Kevin will ever forget him. I will miss you, Kevin–working with you and knowing you was an absolute pleasure.

Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers on Kevin’s passing. I was very fortunate to work with Kevin at IndyMac. It was always exciting to see what new invention he was going bring to the office. He is a great man, very talented and a lovely person with a great heart, he will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to you, his family, on his untimely passing. A life lost way before it’s time.

I had the wonderful pleasure of working with Kevin at Indymac Bank for many years. I could always depend on Kevin to create absolute brilliant training and marketing solutions that would help propel the company forward. Years after we both left Indymac Bank, I reached out to Kevin to help with yet another marketing solution. As always, he approached the job with the energy and enthusiasm of a true professional. I will always cherish the copies of these programs and remember the great times we spent together in the creative process. He was an absolute genius in his field. Akiko – I never had the chance to meet you face-to-face, but your husband devoted many years of his professional life in supporting individuals like me, and I am here to return that love in any way that you might need. Please reach out if there is anything that you might need. ~ Lawrence

Words can’t describe the sorrow that you must feel. Children should not pass before their parents, but God has another plan. Another angel has ascended into heaven….Kevin Lassard…may you be with God at this time, and have an everlasting time in this world.
Most sincere sympathy,to Jerri and Akiko.

Kevin was one of the most brilliant, humorous, talented, creative and amazing people i have ever known, and will EVER KNOW. i met him back in 6th grade when we were in CAPA, and i will always remember how he used to defend me whenever the other kids would tease me because of my weight, and encouraged me to ignore them because i was just fine as i was; that’s just the kind of guy he waa – always looking out for others, and always knowing just what to say or do to bring a smile to your face. though we lost touch over the years, i have never forgotten my friend… and will miss him terribly until we meet again.

I worked with Kevin at Capital One and remember him as a bright and funny man. My office was next to his and I would sometimes hear yelps of laughter from his office and would go to hopefully share in the fun and would find him alone. I think he very much enjoyed entertaining himself along with everyone else!
Kevin was especially proud of his family. He was so excited when he built Marissa her special princess bed and outdoor play area.
Godspeed Kevin. May you find the peace you desire.

My prayers are with Kevin’s family during this difficult time.

I find myself speechless at the loss of Kevin. Kevin was “One of a Kind.” He was a modern day Renaissance Man. I know I’m lucky to have met him and learn from him. He taught me how to use “My hovercraft is full of eels” effectively. He may be gone, but his memory and teachings will live on through his daughters and us.

My deepest condolence to the family of Kevin Lassard – Kevin was a kind and thoughtful man. It breaks my heart to hear of a friend passing. Kevin visited our area at work almost every day and made us laugh and kept us entertained with his humorist stories. He will be missed.

Thoughts and Prayers to the family. I worked with Kevin at IndyMac. He is the most creative person I have ever worked with. Many times his imagination far exceeded my ability to comprehend. He really made me think. For that I say “Thanks”. He will be dearly missed.

Jerri, my heart goes out to you for the loss of your amazing, undeniably charismatic son. A son who became a husband and then a father of two girls, who carry that same spark that made us love him so much. He was only in my life for a short while as a high school buddy, but just like all of us, he left his everlasting mark inside me. Kevin Lassard, founding member of TO. WE. FO. WO. YOU ARE OUR LIZARD KING! and you will be greatly missed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZVJ8OFOL8E
