Mark James Musacchio Sr. , 66, Kansas City, MO, passed away at home on April 16, 2020 after a short battle with lung cancer.
Born May 30th 1953, he was one of a kind, a true character straight from the beginning. And the way he died is just like he lived; he wrote his own rules, he fought authority and he paved his own way. And if you said he couldn’t do it, he would make sure he could.
He lived 1000 years in the 66 years we had with him because he attacked life. He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important-the simplicity of living a life with those you love.
He cherished the time he spent with his children and grandchildren for whom he would make a chewbacca noise, scaring them on their phone calls.
As a point of pride, he purported to remember every single person he ever met, and he knew everyone. And he never turned his back on them when they needed his help.
Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Brown, and a son, Dominick Musacchio.
He is survived by two sons: Mark Musacchio & David Musacchio, daughter Jessica Ashcraft; three grandchildren: Mark Musacchio III, Lukas Miller, Dominick and Jaxon Ashcraft; his father: Matthew Musacchio; a brother: Mike Musacchio and two sisters: Karen Musacchio and Mary Jo Cline.
A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date.
