Jason (JDLM) helped me out on a few issues on a local forum and seemed like a genuinely great guy and was always up to either crack a joke or have a serious conversation. Though I have not talked to him in several years I would lurk on the website and get a smile out of any of his posts cause it felt like I could always read the “tone of his voice” in his replies based on the subject matter at hand.

Rest in peace sir, you will be missed. To the family, I am sorry for your loss of this great man. I wish for peace and healing for you all.

I worked with Jason during my deployment to Camp Baha, Iraq in 08/09. It was fun talking to him about cars, internet stuffs, and tech. We killed days out there just talking with Jason about whatever. He always brought his sense of humor and was always a funny dude. I can say with how bad things got out there he always brought a smile and had a way to lighten the mood and make me and the guys laugh. I remember one day we were walking through the base and right outside the haircut shop there was an old busted M3 on cement blocks with no wheels and we all laughed at it for like 10 minutes while Jason was cracking jokes about it. Good times. I only knew Jason for the little time out in Iraq, but he will always be a friend and I’ll always remember the fun and laughter he brought during that deployment.

    Much Love!
