Timothy “Tim” David Bogart

Timothy “Tim” David Bogart of Excelsior Springs, Missouri was born on July 31, 1973 in Ridgewood, NJ and passed on January 5, 2019. Tim was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all friends and family, especially his loving wife and daughter.

Tim leaves behind a wife, April Bogart of the home; a daughter, Madison Bogart; father, Tom Lawrenson; sister, Kim Clarrey (husband, Tim); aunt, Jane Sheehan; uncle, Thomas Sheehan (wife Tammy); mother and father-in-law, Lawrence “Slim” and Doris Williams; two sisters-in-law, Nickie and Cheri Williams; two step-daughters, Amber Pasley and Ashly Rooks; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and beloved pets.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lawrenson; sister, Kellyanne Bogart; and grandparents David and Theresa Sheehan.

Timothy graduated from Park Hill High School in 1991, and worked for Ford Motor Company in Claycomo,  Missouri for over 25 years. He was a proud member of the United Auto Workers local 249 Union. He lived in Florida as a child before moving to and living in Kansas City, Missouri.

Tim was an avid animal lover and cared for countless numbers of his fellow creatures throughout his life. He had a love for nature and the great outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, working on his cherished classic 1971 SS Chevelle, playing video games, and spending time with his family and friends.

Tim was always quick to lend a helping hand to his friends and family, and was a devoted husband, father, family member, friend and neighbor to all who knew him. He always said that he didn’t want a big fuss made over him when he passed, but that seems impossible when his presence positively impacted so many people. No one who knew and loved Tim can fully grasp the depth of this loss. He left footprints in this world that no other feet will ever fill.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2019 – 2:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Country Home: 2115 Maturana Dr. Liberty, Missouri, 64068.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Martha Lafite Thompson Nature Sanctuary in Liberty MO.
